Living outside big cities is like living in an upside world. Being away from all the rush and vanity creates a bubble of calmness and gives you new perspective. For a very short time you get distance from all that is "modern" - the names, the food, the apps. All of a sudden you just need the name of the local carpenter, the food, produced by you and just mobile phone. It is a refreshing reminder that the reality is actually outside the box.
When I think about it, in the life I now have some correctly orientated apps could be of a good use. For example, some that gives you information about seasonal regional plants and how to take care of them or one that calculates the perfect harvest moment.
Modern technology can do a lot for those who really take care of our living, instead of producing games and Find-the-cheapest type of software.
I believe that if technology works more toward the farmers and food producers, it can really make a difference. That way two worlds - HiTech and the reality can cooperate so that really needed fruits are produced.
