I am a little kid on the beach. I am running towards a large wave. It gets nearer and starts to foam and I start screaming and running the opposite direction. I wiggle from the change of course. I wear nothing but a smile. My skin is bear and I can feel the sun kissing it.
I go in circles around mom and think about building a new castle. The last one was eaten by the waves. I never seem to know where to build them.
Confused by the waves and their hunger for my castle I go to y dad and take his hand and try to lift him from his towel. As I tug on it he teases me, showing me that he cannot be pulled. All this with a nice smile. I get angry and just as I am about to scream he jumps on his feet, takes me by the waist, spins me in a circle and puts me back on my feet. I scream with delight in the air.
We then rush to my half-eaten, half-standing castle and just as we get there, a wave splashes and leaves a heap of sand. I look him in the eye and as tears well up in my eyes he grabs the shovel and hands it to me. He says: "Son, let's build another one together."
