You all have heard about Africa. About the poverty, the wars, the lack of laws. You are all sad about our beautiful nature, sickened and destroyed by our economical problems. You all know the unique tribes will soon disappear.
Standing on the edge of two worlds I understand what "the outsiders" see, how can things look, but on the other side there is much more to be seen. Here live people not only in the war zones. They are smart, smiled, colorful. Those who have got or have chosen Africa for their home, no matter of which race are, have the continent in their hearts. Those I see here, those to whom I speak are grateful for their beautiful country and in the same time very sad bout all the terrible things that happen here.
People here are an unique mix between calm southern characters and warriors who have seen more than one battles and are always ready for a new one and to fight for the ones they love. They are children to the raw nature and cruel reality as much to beauty and sun. They know violence, don't be mistaken in this; they know misery and ugliness, and maybe this is exactly why they appreciate every small moment of calmness and peace with a smile - a pure and universal gesture of acceptance and positivism.
On the other side of Africa there is a constant celebration of life. The war, the hunger, the poverty here are easy to be found, but so are friends, smiles and pure joy of life.
