There is no perfection. It just does not exist. There are no perfect people, no perfect forms in nature, not even real symmetry. And yet we are also on a mission to find it - to become perfect, to be with the perfect, buy the perfect.
There is something really wrong with our need of something that is really only in our heads. The truth is that we don't need perfect. We can not control the odds and have just the life we want. We, ourselves are imperfect, ergo is not likely that we create anything that surpass us.
A really good (not perfect) life would be one that we take with all its wrongs and mistakes that we and others make. If we leave behind our need to chase some vision of greatness and consistency, it will all become easy and pleasant. In its pureness reality is much greater than every concepion we can think of. If we just accept the fact that the nature's logic is messy and sometimes hard or impossible to get , we will have a happy, healthy and peaceful life. What it takes for us to do is to stop wanting and wоrrying, and planing. We just need to enjoy what is given to us, pursue our goals and let go of unrealistic expectations.
For example, this general idea of how western life should be - we live with our parents, go school, find a job, get married and become parents. Now think of all the lives this pattern has ruined, while trying to get it.
I believe that perfection and balance are two different things. What we really need in life is balance, so we can enjoy in a pure way what life has to offer. It is all there, beautiful and mighty, it just doesn't always fit our scale.
