Working with people makes you able to recognize some types. In time you get to know human expressions and reactions. I think that our character maybe leaves a trace on our face. The strong characteristics show right away, some of the others need time, but we are there, оn our countenance. And that is a great way to prepare yourself what to expect when a new client or partner comes down from the car.
For example, you can always be sure that a red-faced and kind of puffed-up person will make a problem. S/he will бе, of course, righteously indignant at the price or suspicious about the quality, sure that something you say can not be right. A person with a long and narrow nose and small eyes, that follow you close all the time, will surely want all the guaranties one can think of - all the documentation, statements and some witnesses as well, please, before paying you what you've agreed.
On the other hand, an overenthusiastic middle aged person, with red cheeks and big eyes will right away and forever fall in love with you and what you are doing. S/he will never fully understand what and how is happening, will constantly ask you about your opinion, but never really follow your advises, and be first in line for everything new you are up to. If you are not up to something new, s/he will give you a bunch of ideas, that you can realize, say, tomorrow.
Some are truly charmed by what you do. They watch you with usually big, interested eyes. Always have questions and always the right ones. They come, see, buy, say "I'll come again" and never come back. They are gentle and sweet, though.
There are always types of clients and partners that make you crazy. There are and these, working with whom gives sense to what you do. These who seem to understand you and your purposes by just hearing your name; who listen to you carefully and follow your work-related instruction strictly; those who care and like your work. I can not actually say that they have a physical type. They are sometimes tall, sometimes short. sometimes with big eyes, sometimes with thick lips. No matter how they look like, you are grateful they exist.
No matter if I see the hard part of it, or I meet someone of a soulmate today, in the end working with people makes me feel alive and needed. I do my work, they like it or not, appreciate it or not, but as I give them something every time, so they leave a small particle of themselves with me.
