In modern life we can either live in a big city, either in a smaller town, or in the countryside. I've live both in a big city, when I was a student, and in countryside now, when my work demands it. I must say - life close to nature is so much better.
Like, the other day, I had gone for a walk with my dog early in the morning and while walking through the wet grass we saw a doe. Such a beautiful creature! She didn't even got scared by us, for she hadn't seen many people before. She was standing there like this magical mystical creature, like a forest spirit. It was an amazing experience! All day after that I felt full of energy and inner calmness.
On the other hand, in the big city your day begins with the traffic jam, with the nerves around being late (you are always late!), you are trying in the same time to drink your coffee, catch the bus, have several meetings, get a lunch, sweat several times, think a million things and all this while running with medium speed. Why do people do that to themselves? I mean, why most of earth's population would consciously choose this lifestyle?
In a life closer to nature I find my mind in peace. I have to say, that I haven't been writing so often, since I was in highschool. In a world, where we don't have time for thinking, what future are we creating?
