The taste of sea had stuck on his lips. The wind was playing with his red hair and his bushy beard while Smith was holding to a rope on the deck.
In fact, he thought that there would be no difference if he is near the sea or not - the salty memory would forever be on his moth, for it had become a part of him during the many years spent sailing. Smith came to Waterland, as was the planet's popular name, along with all of the other pilgrims. Non of them expected what they were about to find. Namely, a world with almost only salty water surface, with the only exception of the only continent or more likely island's land
When people arrived it got quickly clear that there isn't enough room for them on the land. So, they built a number of ships out of the remains of their transportation and then set sail into the unknown. In time the ships became floating cities, with several levels, gardens and small apartments.
The most valuable currencies on Waterland were two - built materials to expand the city and the right to live on the Land. The second one could only be earned by achieving a remarkable life's improvement for the planet's every inhabitant.
No one had done it in years. Setting sails against the upcoming storm, Smith was hoping to do exactly that today. Full ahead!
